Meh. When I was teaching high school I took all the resources I could get and I’m sure others are glad to as well. The issue is making sure technology makes education more productive rather than serving as a distraction. I can see a G Home doing that if used correctly.

It's an alarmist stretch to call these AI assistants surveillance. It's the same level of surveillance as a search engine, so interpret that however you want. It's less surveillance than a teacher is.
