Rigid writing advice/coaching, crash diet industry, real estate webinars... The only exception I would make is hiring a fitness trainer if you’re starting out—just to show you what good form looks like. But do vigorously ignore all rigid writing advice.

That's a great way of learning how to write. There are multiple ways. You can also learn how to do math, or learn a foreign language, or learn how to cook by reading books. But some people have blocks and a coach/instructor can help people get through them.
