You mustn't have been following along... Turkey has been anti-Assad and providing "rebels" since the "civil war" started in Syria.

well turkey apart from hating Assad hates Kurds and have been arming rebels/ISIS to get rid of both of them.. my observation is you cannot hate Assad and be Putin's friend..
