Saying anyone, child or adult, would or could inject "industrial amounts of insulin" is ridiculous. Insulin levels have to be carefully managed to avoid low blood sugar, which is more dangerous in the short term than high blood sugar.

Do you mean industrial amounts as opposed to biological amounts? The right amount of insulin is the right amount of insulin regardless if it is industrially produced, human or animal derived.
