Today, I had 10 excuses not to work out. I just needed 1 to convince me into it. Me time. 😂 Just the quiet of my mind, no distractions, no demands. And then went home to cook lunch for my family.😂 That's how a mom rolls.

There are so many angry posts on Facebook that there are days when I just want to comment "Who hurt you?!" in all of them. Too much hate and anger is draining.

This morning, we had a "Let's Talk" learning session. This is based on the WHO Let's Talk campaign. The learning session discusses mental health, common disorders, challenges, misconceptions and support available for Filipinos. It was technically challenging this morning.

I realized I've done mental wellness talks for companies based in the US, Canada, Berlin, Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore. I was today years old when I realized that I should be damn proud of myself.😁 Allow me to flex. I'm just a tiny Filipina who just kept saying "I think I can."

There are days when I'm a pretty good cook and have healthy meals. There are also days when I ask myself "WHAT EES DEES BAZZURRA I'M FEEDING MY FAMILY?!😳 And it's okay.😊

Thankful for the week that has passed. We're safe, secure and healthy. Let's continue to pray for those who are not as lucky. We're all connected in this world and the only way out of this hole is if we work together to get out of it.

When someone wants to open up and talk about how they feel, listening can be a challenge.Oftentimes, we want to give advice,fix it & talk too much when all we need to do is listen. A person who listens without judgement & with an open heart is worth a thousand words of advise.

In many impoverished communities. No social development program will work if the minds of the people aren't prepared. We've seen it many, many times. Intergenerational poverty does that. That's always been my end goal.

I don't know how. I just know that if people in this country is in a better state of wellbeing, they will have more clarity to take care and love it. We're a country of traumatized people who act accordingly and it's not doing us any good.
