Ridiculous assertion. The presumption of innocence extends to those accused of rape as it does toward any defendant. A man on trial for murder has to prove he didn't commit the crime; it's called "a defense." All defendants are entitled to one, including those accused of rape.
No, he doesn't have to prove he didn't murder the person. If he did it would be guilty until proven innocent.
Once the allegation is made, if he wants to stay out of prison, he most certainly does. Defendants don't rely on a lack of evidence presented by the prosecution for their exoneration; they mount a defense to prove they didn't commit the crime.
