@zedshaw but you used alcohol + pastel how?
@briankardell The alcohol dissolves the pastel into the grit saving you a layer of pastel and giving a good base. It also dries fast.

@zedshaw yeah I've used alcohol with acrylics to remove paint before, just wondering if it is similar -
@briankardell Totally different. It's just a liquid to dissolve the pastel. You can also use water or gamsol. - 3 more replies
