@zedshaw did you ever try the black canvases? kinda hate them, but I think they are kind of helpful to my desire to lay down a lot of paint

@zedshaw dunno - I think it is just habit.. First thing I do with a white canvas is cover it anyway - something about dark matte below
@briankardell Yeah that's what I like about it. I usually put down a thin underpainting anyway, or a unifying color so black saves a step.
