@zedshaw with water soluble oils you can use water like thinner. I've messed with a bit, I also use some linseed oil. They sell mediums tho.

@briankardell Yes, you can, but it turns it into more of a watercolor than "thinned oil", which might be part of the problem. - 1 more reply
