@zedshaw You can buy little fret stickers to separate them if you're having a hard time. Not sure if it fucks with the sound or not though.
I like the sound of the fretless bass I made, but man is it hard to play. Way out of my league, so I may get a fretted neck for it.

@jensechu Mine's got lines so I don't need markers. It's more that I play guitar so much not having frets warps my mind. :-)
