Got a Hey invite this morning 90% of the functionality is crappy versions of features that exist in other email apps, but also missing a ton of basic stuff It’s all just hype. This is the Beats headphones of email apps This took years to build? Why? Won’t be paying for it

Anyways, I have 2 more invite codes Since http://hey.com is $100/year, if you would like one of these invite codes, please donate $100 to the Equal Justice Initiative https://support.eji.org/give/153413/ and DM me a photo of your receipt

I watched Just Mercy yesterday and it didn't occur to me to donate. Don't need/want a HEY invite, but thanks for reminding me to support the EJI! Just donated $100. cc for the RT

That's money better spent. From what I've heard Hey isn't very good. Also, if you want your last name Lam they'll charge you $999 I think? Something insane for 3 letter email addresses.

Yeah, better to go with a custom domain for your org and you can create an infinite # of 3, 2, or 1 letter email addresses for that!

So much cheaper. How have you been by the way?

Adjusting to the permanent stay-at-home with the family (lucky for us we have enough space!), finding it hard to concentrate on things at times, wanting to be able to plan for the future again ... loved your video on your pinned tweet BTW!

I'm glad you liked it. Like I said, it's not important. Just needed to say something.

I disagree. It’s important because *you* are saying something. It’s something that for years I haven’t talked about at all. I’m still figuring out what I can do about it. I don’t want to do something and say “there, I did it”. It’s going to be an ongoing part of my life.
