One thing I forgot to do is calibrate the light on the subject with the light on my setup. First image is with no calibration, second is the same painting but with the light calibrated to be the same.pic.twitter.com/ULTT3nvrne

This reason the painting on the left seems all pink is I hadn’t covered the inside of the box with black, and cardboard is basically pink when loght reflects off it. I also had a cardboard color cloth behind the box. Switch to black surroundings and it looks normal.pic.twitter.com/yxPtYbTyXE
