I however may be selling my fuji as my photography needs changed dramatically when I did my big world tour last year. The Fuji is amazing, but the one I have is a BEAST. It’s massive, and while the photos are great I needed better video quality to film my locations.

I ended buying an Olympus OM-D E-1MX instead as it hit everything I need on a paintinn/filming trip. The camera and lenses are about 1/3rd the weight and size, 1 lens goes 24mm-200mm at constant f, and the stabilization is unreal. I AM NOT KIDDING IT IS ABSOLUTE CREEPY MAGIC.

It does super fast 20MP photos, 50MP hand held or tripod combined shots, 4k video stabilized even with a 800mm focal length hand held! I sat in a car driving through Laos with 300mm (600mm equiv) lens filming 4k log video hand held with no shake. Rarely used a tripod.

Interesting, is it mirrorless? I used to shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV, and I've been looking at Fuji and Sony for a camera. Good to know, I'll have to watch B&H now! Also your lens collection sounds INSANE.

Totally mirrorless. I’d say it has the best color accuracy of the cameras I’ve used. It’s a massive sensor so it’s not fast like a 35mm or m4/3, but it takes very good photos.

Oh man you gotta share some shots when you get a chance. That's so exciting. Hows the weight on the body?

You ready for this? https://zedshaw.art/#/art/6/ Give it a bit so that it downloads, but that is a whole 50MP shot of a painting I did from the Fuji. You can even zoom in and see the paint texture.pic.twitter.com/4iStbg8Bj1

Thanks, that's using WebTorrent to send the image, which I think is...20MB in size? I'd have to look but you probably grabbed a good chunk of it from my computer at home and the server at the same time.

Let me drop some recent links: https://github.com/pion/webrtc https://github.com/pion/awesome-pion/blob/master/README.md … https://github.com/anacrolix/torrent/ … I *might* write a better server backend with some of those, plus: https://gun.eco Sort of related. In theory you could recreate WT with GUN up to a 5MB size.
