Alright all my Mac audio nerds: recording audio on any interface/device leads to crackle on playback. I don’t hear it/see it on my end but it is on playback and others hear it. It’s not the cable. Tried multiple microphones and interfaces. Ideas?
If you link me a sample I can tell you. Also, what’s the input device? USB mic? Laptop mic (gross)?
USB -- if I can get it to reproduce I will, thank you! On another computer for the moment and hoping it'll resolve itself next time I use it.
USB isn’t decoupled so you can get ground hum and interference. Is there something new (newly added and old) to your USB hub/setup? I know you’ll do troubleshooting but even a lot of audio peeps don’t realise this
