As I’m slowly getting up to speed on our React front end I find myself in this weird position where I know I don’t have enough experience to have good opinions and yet I have very strong feelings that what I’m *supposed* to do is dumb and I don’t like it.

This is why I prefer Svelte over React or Vue. React/Vue is a lot of that “this is good for you dumb coder” bullshit to cover for bad design choices while Svelte gives the same features in a tighter package and does the work for you such that you don’t know it’s there.

I wasn’t familiar with Svelte but what I’m reading seems like it might fit my head better. Probably won’t be able to use it at work but I’ve got a side project it might be perfect for!

It’s React tech off plain old assignment with lots of error checking.
