I ended buying an Olympus OM-D E-1MX instead as it hit everything I need on a paintinn/filming trip. The camera and lenses are about 1/3rd the weight and size, 1 lens goes 24mm-200mm at constant f, and the stabilization is unreal. I AM NOT KIDDING IT IS ABSOLUTE CREEPY MAGIC.

It does super fast 20MP photos, 50MP hand held or tripod combined shots, 4k video stabilized even with a 800mm focal length hand held! I sat in a car driving through Laos with 300mm (600mm equiv) lens filming 4k log video hand held with no shake. Rarely used a tripod.

Sadly, I dropped that camera after getting back to the US like a moron and wrecked it completely. 4’ drop to hard cement on the body corner is not a good thing for cameras.pic.twitter.com/uNhTgpgA4Y

You don't even know, I just about cried. That camera quite literally changed my life and then after I dropped it I kind of became demotivated to continue working on my art videos. Need to move on with my life!

Well part of the motivation for redoing my entire digital online gear is to make putting these out there. I actually have like .. 15TB of source material...it's insane.

Yep, I basically filmed 60% of my painting sessions outside with 3-4 cameras in 4k. I think about 50 sessions in total I can use. Then I got home and was too damn tired to deal with it. LOL.
