Some of the most upsetting tweets I get to see are people who 100% gave up on Windows a decade ago because of Python. Much like 100% giving up on Linux because of AAA games. Don't judge a platform by the things that weren't designed for it.
Yet, I can run all kinds of things without editing the path. Everything from Office to Chrome to Reaper to Node to Perl to WSL to everything except Python. Being able to conveniently run software without specialized knowledge is not a “linux” thing. It’s a human thing.

Everyone else uses the Start menu. A terminal *is* specialised knowledge in Windows. GUI is the main front-end.

You're also a liar. Here's my path, with tons of things I didn't manually add. I didn't manually add postgres, Webm, dotnet, sql server, OpenSSH, nodejs. The installers did that for me. You are now proven completely wrong. This is not a Linux only thing. It's usability.pic.twitter.com/Z2plxKNJiS
