Got this JavaScript watch called a Bangle today. It’s got quite a few features for a little JS arduino watch. GPS, motion, heart rate, color LCD, very simple touch, some buttons, etc.pic.twitter.com/pcqKUeN6sB
Currently the only thing it seems to be better at is data science, and even that is mostly an accident of history. I believe all the things you can do with Python can be done in JavaScript better. Given how slow Python is this is a complete waste of everyone's time.

Not really: 1. Refuses to add to the PATH on Windows. 2. Linux forces their version on you. 3. Inconsistent confusing design. 4. Dead batteries. 5. Not a lot of good code to use. 6. Authoritarian management. 7. Indentation syntax is harder to grasp. 8. No good GUI "battery".

The messiness of npm holds me back from trying JS more often. Do you think deno https://deno.land/ can become a good JS/TS alternative for python in scripting etc.?
