That looks like a fun gadget to play with, a metronome app perhaps. Did some googling, could not find a micropython port, so JS will have to do for now.
Python is kind of lame anyway. Think about it. How would you do graphics on this watch with Python? Pandas? PyGame? Yuck.

Eh? Is micropython not on your radar at all? You use framebuffers directly, or something like https://littlevgl.com/ if you need something more higher level.

Not even. It’s garbage. Raw framebuffers? Pfft. JS is light years ahead in front-end and fun.
