I feel that I’ve lost the Python path. Not sure when it happened or how it happened, but I no longer “get” what the language or the community is even about. Dunno. Maybe it’s me instead.

I believe their insistence on forcing everyone to rewrite all code—and the denial of the existence of Church-Turing—fostered a culture of authoritarian management that ruined the community through repeated abuse and propaganda. It’s tough to sit by and watch them wreck it.
