I did a quick analysis of Amazon's selling practice regarding N95 masks and after reading this article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/daviddisalvo/2020/03/30/i-spent-a-day-in-the-coronavirus-driven-feeding-frenzy-of-n95-mask-sellers-and-buyers-and-this-is-what-i-learned/#ce6b35756d44 … There were 45 million masks in New Jersey that were sold to a foreign "entity". Amazon is prioritizing N95 purchases to hospitals only. Hmmmm.
This paper from http://nih.gov talks about numbers of doctors in terms of hiring: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK215247/ … So let's say about 700k doctors. That single sale was 64 masks for each doctor currently working.

Adding in nurses from that article, it's about 2.7 million medical professionals. So that single sale was 18 masks per working doctor and nurse in the US. That's one sale, and no law is being exerted to prevent it, but Washington State did this:https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/target-apologizes-for-selling-n95-masks-amid-shortage-donates-to-health-dept.-2020-03-23 …

But, there is no law in the State of Washington preventing selling masks, which is evidenced by no announcements shutting down the sale in that state, or any state. They only block retail sales to you, as evidenced in the Forbes article.

That means
@GovInslee confiscated about 1000 masks from a retailer selling to the public: https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/target-apologizes-for-selling-n95-masks-amid-shortage-donates-to-health-dept.-2020-03-23 … But like@GovMurphy allows the sale of masks to foreign nationals in a market: https://www.forbes.com/sites/daviddisalvo/2020/03/30/i-spent-a-day-in-the-coronavirus-driven-feeding-frenzy-of-n95-mask-sellers-and-buyers-and-this-is-what-i-learned/#3f9fd6bb56d4 … You have to wash your hands while the wealthy get N95 love.Show this thread -

If you know of other sales of N95 masks in your state, then @ your governor and rat the sellers out. If your Governor is keen to confiscate *your* masks and sanitizer, then they should be at a minimum requiring the sale of these PPE to stay in the US, or confiscate them too.
