8. You can go into the app and move the sound around your head spacially. So lets say there’s an asshole at the open plan office who has phone calls so loud even ANC can’t stop him? Just move ths music to where he is and he’s blocked completely.
17. So what makes this design flaw EVEN DUMBER is they can easily fix all of this in software because they HAVE GREAT ANC MICS. They can use the ANC tech combined with the voice mics to select just your voice from both mic and cancel out the noise from the voice mic.

18. So think about this. If you want to make a clear call with these, and listen to your environment, you basically have to cup your hands on both sides of your head and even then it pics up all the noise around you so you might as well just use a nice cable w/ a mic in it.

19. Overall they’re excellent and very well designed. It’s been worth the cost given the insane productivity boost they’re giving me. Just don’t get them if you want to make phone calls with them, and if you do then get a mic cable (which sounds better anyway).

So many typos. Phone sucks for these. Anyway that’s the review.

They have a really whimpy cpu onboard. You can know on Android/Windows/Mac (but not iOS) because it switches away from aptX if you use the equalizer. It can't process both at the same time.

But yeah, 30 hour battery life. Hmm

I thought the WH1000-XM3 does *not* have any extra mics on top of the ANC ones. That would explain the weird location of them on top of both cups.
