Story: I was working at the human communication department at ASU, and there was this prof famous for dense overly complicated sociology texts. One day I'm helping him with his computer and I have to sit while he finishes writing. I see him write smth like: "Sexism sucks".
Not kidding like, 2-4 words, I don't remember exactly. Then, I watch as he turns this phrase into an absolute Rube Goldberg machine of English convolution like you'd never seen, going from this to ever more complex semi-colon; laiden; Proustian; no periods ; full page paragraph.
