Amazing Life Hack if you like watching "foreign" movies, but don't want to read subtitles: If you turn on the dub in your language, then look *exclusively* at the actor's eyes, your brain will *fill in the lips* to make it seem like they speak your language. Caveats:
The close the language to your own the better this works. English on French lips is good, Danish lips the best, Thai lips, eh pretty close. This improves as you watch an get better at focusing on eyes and keep lips in the peripheral vision.
It works really good if bit of common words are sprinkled in. Watching movies about the internet is a good example. What seems to happen is your brain tracks on the sprinkling of English words and then fills in what's between them, and most internet lingo is English.
