Think I just ended my cycling season by hitting a deer and launching myself over the handlebars. Probably have a broken wrist and possibly two broken fingers---in different hands. Arg! Ought to be fun teaching today.

Wow are these fingers sore. The only way to type at a laptop is to take splints off. It's possible to do it relatively pain free, but got to take it super easy. This ought to be a fun week ahead.

Daaayumn dude. So what are you going to do? Are you doing the typing during demos of some sort? If you need help I could *probably* record videos of me typing up whatever you need to demo, then you can just play the videos and pretend you're typing.

The course for next week is advanced (Raft/Distributed systems) so everyone is much less reliant on seeing me code everything. Also, as luck has it, the best way to implement Raft is to spend 90% of your time thinking about it first. Think it can work ;-).
