Alright, the GoPro Max is a great piece of technology. The GoPro software is fucking dogshit, especially on Windows. It's possible to work around everything with external tools, but ultimately it should be way easier to work with than this.
For example: To get the videos off the camera in a format you can edit in Davinci Resolve (or anything) you have to use the GoPro Max Exporter. It then spends 8-10 hours copying a few videos, and transcodes them to a massive file format that's totally unecessary.
