      It's also wrong. Proper sequencing and scope of learning new things is _the_ key for learning fast. "Prearranging, sorting into modules and themes" is what makes it possible to learn in months what took humanity hundreds of years to figure out.

      If you want to blast modern education, the better take is "after all this time we still haven't figured out the right way to sequence many things so people learn them faster and more deeply", not that we make learning 'so easy that we actually don't really learn'

      Best example: Learn Python/Ruby/JS The Hard Way by @zedshaw. Proper sequence and scope of each step = 100x better results in teaching total beginners to program than anyone else. Still hard work (hence "The Hard Way") but that's not because it's too much "prearranging".
