4G wifi routers are made by tons of companies, I just got an ASUS because it'll use 4G+ and possibly get 2 channels down on the LTE. Huawei makes a router called a 618 that does the 4G Cat 6 (?) and gets 6x the bandwidth of normal 4G. It's basically:

Wifi router like normal, but you can push a 4G sim card into it and it'll use this magic technology I bet none of you assholes have heard of called an ANTENNA--no wait it gets better--TWO ANTENNAE NO LESS--to get max reception and performance, then routes it all for you.

Slapped the 4G sim in (not even 4G+ really), and I went from 1 bar shit performance on the pocket wifi to max bars, full apartment coverage, and max performance on the transmissions and almost zero setup. I can't remember actually seeing anything like this before..which is dumb.

I mean, I always thought in the back of my head, "Ya know I could get 4 USB 4G aircards and slap them in an OpenWRT router and probably do a 4x bonded wifi router....ah fuck it I don't have time." That's basically what this is and it may become my international travel buddy.
