It's quite interesting. I've had...about three lunch meetings with Chinese companies that want to compete with @adafruit. One, I wouldn't, but free food so
fundamentally they don't get it, they think it's the hardware- I tell them it's the tutorials, sure the hardware is great-https://twitter.com/mrallinwonder/status/1176689477953232896 …

but it's the huge library of carefully written tutorials they are up against. They say "oh we'll get some tutorials written". By who? It's like 20 people who are the best on the planet at this with years of archives. Rinse & repeat for SBCs, STEM kits- it's about the ecosystem.

Hmmmmm I might be interested in doing that for some company. Sounds like a unique challenge.

You don't want a Chinese company curating and editing your tutorials, they would not even know to hire you or the other guy. Even then, one person can't build a curriculum that can even begin to compete with Adafruit.

It’d be interesting to try, then again I also have my own thing going on. I will point out though that people constantly claim “no one person could compete” and I consistently do and I’m lazy as hell about it.

Thanks! That’s probably why I can consistently earn money from my content and don’t have to slave away as a dirt PHP coder to make ends meet at the slightest little controversy!pic.twitter.com/8DPybPNJ8C
