There's definitely truth to what you're saying, but the Sackler money went to museums mostly *before* the opioid crisis. The MIT Media Lab was taking the Epstein money *after* his conviction and *after* a formal university policy of refusing his donations.
Not true. They were running that opiod scam for a long time and all their money comes from that scam so there isn’t a magic “crisis” cutoff date. Plenty of museums took and kept money long after. Epstein also donated before and after his arrest.
