I obsessively record myself painting, and for whatever reason I thought I had a backlog of 10 videos I still need to edit. Nope, I have 29 more videos, almost 35 hours of content. There's 10 posted on https://zedshaw.art/#/videos/ already, so I could have 39 videos up soon.
I am also doing a huge trip soon around the world. I'm going to Seattle, Maui, Kona, Tokyo, Bangok, and Paris for about 5 days each and a total of 50+ days of travel. My goal is to paint and record while I travel, so I could have another 30-40 videos for a total of 70-80.
That means I need to take a lot of painting gear, and my old method of just wrapping it in clothes inside my suitcase isn't going to cut it. I've been focusing on small paintings this year, 6x8 and 6x9, but on this trip I'm jumping up to 11x14 to push my skills further. I predict I'll get a lot of good videos, but good paintings will be about 10% of the total, so maybe 4-6 out of 40.
