I'd also say, totally skip the webtorrent part. Even with docs it was about 2 months of hacking to make it do anything other than totally publicly blast a video over all the torrents. I had to reverse engineer quite a lot to make it behave, not to mention get backends working.
However, the Svelte aspect of it is gold. You could conceivably take your existing static site, add on svelte and sapper or svelte-spa-router, and redo the whole thing to be static but very dynamic still.
