Mr. Troy Grady of https://troygrady.com/ should receive a Ph.D. for his study of guitar picking. He sells instructional videos on just guitar picking, but they're so scientifically analyzed and debunk so many bad guitar practices, that it is Ph.D. level research.
It's also amazing that he's built an entire business just educating people on one single repetitive hand motion. It's been one of my best purchases for guitar education, and has fixed a ton of problems in my playing, by just focusing on picking.
And, the way he's doing it is simply actually filming top players playing, then analyzing how they really use their pick during playing, then breaking it down into micro tiny pieces with crazy amounts of information, such that you can't help but understand it and apply it.
