What elections should look like: All persons over 15 years of age or older who reside in an area (regardless of citizenship/legal status, regardless of judicial conviction) should be able to vote. (Residency defined as maintaining primary residency for 6+ months)

You should read about Pol Pot and how he used teens to murder lots and lots of people. Same for Mao. Same for Hitler. Teen brains aren’t fully formed yet and are easily manipulated into intense and bloody violence.

Probably would be, but we decided 18 is an adult so no. Can’t go back to the Vietnam War era where 18 year old men couldn’t vote but coupd be forced to die in a war they didn’t want.

But now kids are being slaughtered in school and sacrificed to the follies of the legal interpretation of "well regulated militias" so at this point I think "old enough to die for the constitution, old enough to vote."

Sadly, many of the teens you think will vote to get rid of guns totally believe that a few dead at their school is just the price to pay for that freedom. Letting them vote would probably make things worse and it’s pretty easy to convince them of anything.

Yep. This country is powered on marketing and easily treating others as an enemy.
