Anyone telling you that is using a subtle form of gaslighting to manipulate you into believing what they believe, not into being more interesting. They also tend to be narcissists who have no real interest in you, and therefore don't know enough about you to make that judgement.
But, feel free to DM me and talk to me about what people find boring. I'm going to bet you a wad of cash money most of what they claim is more about anti-intellectualism and pushing hedonism than anything actually boring. I might even have some things to study too.

I don’t know if this helps, but I just had a woman say she didn’t want to see me again after one date because I was “too intense about my passions”. So you can’t win. I agree that it’s probably them not you.
