I’ve been looking for a replacement camera for my gopros. I’ve done 26 useable painting videos with the gopro and it cost me about 10 more due to design flaws. I saw the DJI Osmo Pocket and it might be the solution I want. 4k@60, 140m battery, gimbal, tiny, wifi.

Is very small form factor important? Weather proof? 4K? Something like the Sony A5100 would be very versatile, but it might be on the bigger end.

Sony has a couple of other more compact options, though I’d be inclined to use something more versatile with a lightweight tripod. If you’ve got a camera collection I’m sure you’ve considered the options though, look forward to hearing what you land on.

Tripod is also a no. Ehem if the camera isn’t attached to my easel so I can watch it then someone will steal it. Shit you not. Also Sony’s other action cam is fisheye, and bigger than this. I really should write this up to help others avoid annoying searches.
