The majority of these "facial flaws" are actually just correcting lighting and lens distortion from shitty selfie cameras. In one instance the dude looks like a straight up model and this guy just adds a smile and changes the lighting, which is not a "flaw". https://twitter.com/LaFilouterie/status/1112096866483744773 …
The final thing to remember is this: NO ARTIST THAT PAINTS A HEAD FROM LIFE IS ACCURATE. I straight up challenge anyone to this. I've painted hundreds and hundreds of heads and seen people way better than anyone do the same and universally the final result is not "accurate".

The good portrait painters will get close enough that the average person can't tell (or they just use a photo with a 85mm portrait lens), but if you're trained you can easily see where the real person and the portrait differs, and this is on *every single painting*.

So if the very best portrait painters in the *world* can't accurately paint a portrait from life--with the real head of that person there and 3-10 hours--then how the hell is some jackass on Twitter with photoshop and no medical training supposedly doing better?
