Sounds like someone trying to drop ship/pre-order price arbitrage your book as the very best and still terrible scenario here.
Seems like a dumb ass way to do it since I haven't actually published my book at all. No publisher has it. Nobody does really. So, how would this work? And, how would they be able to publish it as Addison Wesley too?
Good chance it's someone's bot that scrapes lists of upcoming books and lists them on Amazon. Who knows if it's a scam or a way to capture relevance on Amazon before you launch it.
No it was the publisher. Apparently a programming mistake but they did put it in the system.
