Finally the next day I went to the Brooklyn bridge and found a spot. I was cold as a mofo at 24f but again lots of sunshine. I had to turn my easel so it caught sunshine to keep the paint warm enough to use.pic.twitter.com/D0TJt9Qn1N

And remember, when viewing an impressionist painting--especially one done in this Russian-tons-of-paint-style--you want to look at it far away and close up. Close up it should look abstract and like modern art, far away it should look real but with some energy or motion to it.
