Do you mean with a barre? I got tips for that. 1. Put your whole index finger on the strings. 2. Play them all one by one, fix your finger until they sound good. 3. Take your whole hand off, shake it, repeat #1. 4. Now add your barre+pinky, barre+2 fingers, barre+3. Key is #3.
Then do that in the cycle of 4ths. FMaj, BbMaj, EbMaj, and so on. This forces you to constantly take your hand off, and nail it on the chord on a different part of the fretboard and get the grip right. Think about it like jumping and grabbing accurately.
Yeah, Barre. Been working on it a few months now, but it's slow going. A simple concept, but effortless execution is a whole different matter. Maybe six months from now it'll be better ;-).
