The logistics will also be strange. So, everyone over 18 would have to register, but you can't join after..36? 38? That means if the draft becomes gender neutral then women who are 18-38 (?) would suddenly have to register or face jail, fines, no student loans, etc.
The other strange thing is this seems to directly target millennial women. If you wanted to do something devastating to millennial women this would be it. I predict, if this is ruled unconstitutional by SCOTUS there will be a law removing the penalties and making it optional.
Then again, I'm watching "Good Trouble" and listening to whiny millennial go "Waaaaaaaa How could I possibly work as a designer at a tech company AND make my aaaaart AND party all night Waaaaaah" makes me think maybe 2 years in the military would do these young brats some good.
