the worst part might be losing energy of the mind, missing a lot of attention to detail because my mind just doesn't put in the work. I get it pointed out to me or notice it later and it's obvious stuff and I can't figure out how I'd missed it and normally I wouldn't miss it.

Ya know.....I found my attention to details and ability to focus improved when I started painting/drawing what I see. Do you art?

The other option is to just go right to painting and just learn both drawing and painting at the same time.
