Now, what if learning to code is a great way for empaths to learn systematic thinking; but learning to paint is a great way for systematizers to learn empathy? Actually, why the fuck is art considered some path to empathy? That by itself would need reevaluation.
Just make them use a platform with a terribly-designed API that is also buggy. If that doesn't teach someone empathy, I don't know what will :p
FALSE! Given that all APIs are terribly designed and buggy your proposal would demonstrate an increase in empathy thus *lowering* the number of APIs that are buggy which is a contradiction at P<2.2*10^-300!

I don’t think this study invalidates your suspicion that psychopathy and autism are linked...and I think this for the same reason I DO believe that painting might help learned empathy. The key is mirror neurons.
In fact, thinking about it some more, I wonder how much of the current "autism crisis" could be attributed to a decline in creative pursuits? Painting/sculpting/music/etc. exercises mirror neurons, which are critical for empathy, but we don't do as much of that anymore...
