So, if I had a wishlist of perfect recording device: 1. GoPro size or smaller. 2. 6+ hours of battery. 3. No fisheye, just a straight 35mm or 50mm. 4. 4k but I only want up to 24fps, or even 2.5k at 30fps. 5. No SD card, just pack it with ram and usb-c pull videos.
I've contemplated trying to use my phone, but all the video I get off the phone just sucks. Wrong aspect ratio, low quality, and can't really record for extended periods of time. If you have suggestions on an alternative camera let me know. I want a small tank with 6hr battery

I don’t know your constraints, but there are excellent USB3 cameras now (thank Sony) if you’re willing to tether. I haven’t explored IP cameras either, but they’re much more battle hardened (surveillance).
