Alright, I've been using the Joe Barden blade pickups in my Bass VI but I want something with more power. I'm going to put the Bare Knuckle Pickups Black Hawk https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/pickup/humbucker/black-hawk … and the Cobra https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/pickup/strat/cobra-single-coil … in the middle for a HSH configuration. Problems:
First problem is I want to change to using the Megaswitch E-Model https://www.stewmac.com/How-To/Online_Resources/Learn_About_Guitar_Pickups_and_Electronics_and_Wiring/E-Model_Megaswitch_Instructions.html … which will simplify things and do more unique combinations, however, I don't know if I need a reverse wound or normal wound to work with the two humbuckers.
I got reverse wound for the middle pickup, so I'm thinking because the humbuckers are 4 wire that I'll be able to reverse their polarity if they don't work with the RW/RP middle pickup. Then I have one more modification I want to do:
I'm using the audere preamp which is awesome, but I'd like to be able to turn it off and switch to a simple passive volume/tone circuit. I think I can slap that in the lower switch cavity but not sure how to configure it. Never done that kind of switching before.
