If someone could help me figure out what's the best thing to do in this situation, I would appreciate it. I am a foreigner, and I have no clue about the resources I've got. I would like to file a complaint or report (no energy for a lawsuit tho). Thx

Oh, that's in there for sure. It's all under renters rights. There's even federal laws against discriminating based on legal status, and it's a federal crime to block someone from entering their home called Criminal Interference wrt Housing. You really have all the rights here

Sorry one last clarification that people *constantly* get wrong: The Federal and State housing and renter's laws apply to *everyone* who rents, even if you're not an American, on a visa, here illegally, have a green card, it doesn't matter. The law is for all renters
