Before letting this go...
If someone could help me figure out what's the best thing to do in this situation, I would appreciate it. I am a foreigner, and I have no clue about the resources I've got. I would like to file a complaint or report (no energy for a lawsuit tho). Thx

This law: https://www.justice.gov/crt/criminal-interference-right-fair-housing … Basically says that nobody is allowed to keep you from your going to your home. If they're threatening you like this then they probably violate this law which has fines and 1 year in jail.

Even just sending you that letter is enough to be considered a threat. Renter's laws in SF are also very in your favor, especially if there's a pattern of racism and "she looked like that latina girl" is probably good enough.

Finally, this includes changing your locks, sending you threatening emails, charging you fines for random things, OR doing any of that to your bf, AND there is no contract that takes these rights away. Contracts--especially leases--that take away your rights are invalid.
