I'm watching the Netflix Ted Bundy documentary and WOW holy shit! So much new information and the interviews are very in-depth. The best part is they'll juxtapose his taped interview with interviews with friends to contradict what he says.
Also, apparently his girlfriend Liz at the time, actually called the damn police saying Ted Bundy was the guy. The police were looking for a Ted, with a VW Bug, and she found women's clothes, knives, tons of evidence, and....they didn't go grab him? WTF?

So there's an eye witness of Ted Bundy, she identifies him in a lineup even after he changes his appearance even. Testifies in court it's him. And then, still, people are walking up to her going, "Are you sure it's him? He seems like such a nice guy."

OMFG! Ok so Ted Bundy escapes jail over and over again, then gets caught in Florida after an insane murder spree. He's in jail for *weeks* and they have *no idea who he is!* I just gives a fake name and they can't figure out who he is despite being nationally known as Ted Bundy

Not only this, but he's arrested in Florida, and his damn ex-girlfriend *reads* about him being arrested there and sees him on the news and doesn't tell anyone. Who the fuck are these people?

How many random “heh go arrest that guy” calls do you think cops of that era got

Watch the documentary. It wasn't "it might be my boyfriend". It was "he has that car, was at all the scenes, has a rape kit, looks like him, has women's clothes that aren't mine, I saw him leave, has no alibi" and they didn't even go talk to him. There was no excuse.
