Or, go with a hybrid tele/strat body in butterscotch: http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?Body=2&Shape=2&Path=Telecaster&i=PT7551 … Do the neck in vintage gloss, stainless steel frets. Yummmmmmm.

Actually that telestrat body is kind of warping my brain. So it's a telecaster shape, strat configuration, strat tremolo, and strat neck pocket. I wonder why not a telecaster neck pocket? But, check this out: http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?Body=2&Shape=2&Path=Telecaster&i=pt7563 … Carved top purple ... what is that finish?

Of course, you have to sort by price and then start at the last page to really see the candy: http://www.warmoth.com/Pages/ClassicShowcase.aspx?Body=2&Shape=2&Path=Telecaster&sort=price … I think those are too pretty for an snakehead neck, but maybe that'll float someone's sail boat.

Because, c'mon! Look at this body: http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?Body=2&Shape=2&Path=Telecaster&sort=price&i=PT6894 … I mean, sure it's $1200 but look at that wood. Look at the seam between the top and backside.

But I think for a snakehead telecaster you could go with a modern classic: http://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?Body=2&Shape=2&Path=Telecaster&sort=price&i=PT6894 … Butterscotch blonde with a nice body contour, contoured heel, and tummy cut.

Anyway, I'm serious. I like building guitars for people so if you've always wanted a custom one DM me. I'm kind of bored.
