I urged them to act ethically & with kindness at all times. And to demand all colleagues do the same or turn them in. Not joking. You see a colleague violate policy, say something right then. Or expect be fired along with that colleague. To be good by demanding we all do good.

I urged them to understand we are not warriors because we are not at war with our neighbors. That we aren’t punishers cuz we aren’t cartoon characters. That we aren’t Spartans or a thin blue line. We’re lucky people who can leverage our luck to help our neighbors.

I urged them not to be afraid of their neighbors, and to understand that everyone is in fact your neighbor. I urged them to slow down, to get more comfortable being uncomfortable. I urged them to call 911 callers en route to their location to get timely & accurate information.

Noticing how many people use gofundme for funeral costs and support. Can of us afford to die? Funerals have to stop being so expensive. Just refuse. Who needs a multi-thousand dollar casket! Get a pine box and be done with it. You can decorate the headstones.
